§ 17-26. Exterior appearance standards
A manufactured home shall:
(1) Conform to the minimum square footage requirements of appropriate zoning classification in the zoning ordinance for residential construction.
(2) Be placed on a foundation meeting all the requirements of a conventional single-family home foundation.
(3) Be anchored to the ground, in accordance with the building code installation standards.
(4) Have wheels, axles, and hitch mechanisms removed.
(5) Meet appropriate utility connection standards, in accordance with approved home installation standards.
(6) Have siding material of a type customarily used on conventional constructed residences in the town.
(7) Have roofing materials of a type customarily used on conventional constructed residences in the town, with a minimum of three-inch pitch for each foot of horizontal travel, including asbestos, fiberglass, shake, asphalt and tile materials.
(8) Be placed onto a permanent exterior perimeter retaining wall of solid masonry as set out herein.
(9) Conform to all applicable building codes.
